The registrations for the Erasmus Charity Run 2025 is open!

 

Participating in the Erasmus Charity Run means challenging yourself during one of the biggest sports events in the Netherlands, right in the beautiful center of Rotterdam. As you run, you'll be cheered on by an ecstatic crowd, from start to finish—a truly unforgettable experience!

If this isn't enough motivation to join, consider the following:

  • Run together with 300 EUR colleagues, students and alumni the 1/4 marathon;
  • You'll make dreams come true for future EUR students by raising funds for scholarships;
  • If you raise € 25.00 or more, you'll receive the special Erasmus Charity Run running shirt;
  • You can securely store your valuables before the event at Erasmus University College;
  • Coffee and tea facilities are available before the start;
  • There's a collective warm-up session for the 1/4 marathon;
  • Enjoy drinks and have a chat with fellow runners after the 1/4 marathon.

 

Run for talented scholarship students

The Erasmus Charity Run is a fundraising run where you raise money for students whose dream is to study at Erasmus University Rotterdam. The minimum amount to be raised is € 40. You’ll collect donations through your own fundraise page, encouraging family, friends, and acquaintances to support you. With the funds raised, we hope to sponsor three scholarship students, at €17,500 per student, allowing them to study at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the upcoming academic year. In this way, you’ll help give talented students, who may not have sufficient financial means, the chance to make their dreams a reality.

Please note: the registration fee for the 1/4 marathon does not go toward scholarship students; it is a fee that goes directly to the NN Marathon Rotterdam organization.

If you use the Marathon Rotterdam registration form, you automatically consent to the one-time provision of your data (Name, email address, phone number, nationality, relationship to EUR, if applicable student ID, faculty, if applicable team name, shirt size, and whether you possess an Erasmus Sport pass) by the organization to Erasmus University Rotterdam. Erasmus University Rotterdam requires this data to send information related to the event, to get in touch regarding the creation of the sponsor page, to verify the relationship with EUR, and to order Erasmus Charity Run shirts.
